Resumo


This work aims to show the importance of the use of a set of open access digital advanced tools available in the Internet for applications and processes of e-learning. It presents experiences of the use of the Virtual Learning Environments (VLE) and its support of improving teaching and learning aiming to help to develop the educational process. It presents the Virtual Learning Environment AE - USP (http: // agora.tidia-ae.usp.br),. The paper also presents the use of blogs in Environmental Education and E-PROINFO system for teachers' training of basic education through Information Communication Technology. It concludes that the use of VLE can contribute to increase access to, and improve the relevance and quality of education
