Resumo


The Competence-based Management is a part of a movement aimed to provide efficient management alternatives. This article aims to present the main features of the models Competence-based Management that if aligned to the Knowledge Management can bring great benefits to organizations when applied to human resources. This work tried to make a parallel between both managements highlighting key actions that affect the area of human resources. We conclude that these models are complementary when it can turn in tacit to explicit knowledge, spreading it to the organization in order to provide the expertise retention practices more assertive, by defining the skills of workers.
