Resumo


The purpose of this research was to evaluate till what point a monitoring and analysis performance interface, based on business intelligence technology, would benefit the task of managing by critical success factors, a medium sized transportation company. Therefore a theoretical and practical research was done, using a qualitative case study approach. Data gathering techniques used consisted of document research and interviews. Data analyses used an intepretative approach by content analyses technique. It was observed, through managers perception, that analyses and monitoring performance interfaces, based on business intelligence, benefit the managing task by critical success factors because the interfaces drastically reduce data time access and interpretation, also allowing a better form to communicate information, decision making and monitoring performance
