Última alteração: 2015-01-27
Resumo
This study aims to analyze the images that are captured by electronic devices that record traffic violations, identifying potential operational risks that may occur on these images. The methodology of the research is characterized as a case study, an exploratory approach with quantitative data. Initially we attempted to identify in the literature, the theoretical foundation necessary to support the approach neglected in the study. Next, samples were collected and data analysis. The sample analyzed in the study includes an average of thirty and eight projects (transit contracts) held annually between municipal governments and the business object of study. We analyzed the images relating to existing contracts in the period between 2006 and 2009. The results indicate that the company is exposed to operational risks, including the image processing. We conclude that it is possible to reduce these risks by developing actions that promote quality in the internal control environment of organizations
