Resumo


The Web was designed to support sharing information resources globally. Currently, this sharing is limited, particularly as for the recovery of imperfect information and the Web hidden. The Semantic Web appears as a possible solution for such limitations. Virtual communities of practice are groups of people join and virtually share a common set of knowledge. A use of Semantic Web technologies can contribute much in the implementation of tools support to these communities. This article discusses and presents a tool based on the principles of Web Semantics that assists in the management of knowledge circulates in virtual communities of practice on the Web.
