Resumo
The study aims at demonstrating the link between knowledge management decision-making process to implement the Balanced Scorecard (BSC) in a rural organization, and for the maintenance or improvement of organizational performance indicators shown by the evaluation model. The tacit and explicit knowledge of the organization accumulated, disseminated and used, helps managers in the drafting and implementation of the BSC. The study is characterized as an exploratory study with a predominantly qualitative, conducted through a case study in an organization that exploits the vagueness of ranching beef cattle in Minas Gerais. The results of the organization's performance allowed the organization's management retreat know the current situation, identify gaps and define the corrective actions.
