Resumo
Any information system exists within a given context. Organizations have their own strategic objectives, human resources, technological and financial resources that make them unique among their peers. The architecture of an organization must then be a natural structure, adapted to the reality that you want to represent in a data model. As it is the basis for the exchange of information between the various production centers of the organization, so the organizational vocabulary must be understood by all agents involved in information management. If there is a dissonance in the communication channel information stops flowing in an intelligible format transforming agents in antagonists, instead of the desired cooperative work. The correct definition of domains is a fundamental task and must follow a comprehensive perspective. This paper presents a brief introduction to the application of theoretical information ecology in the building of more contextualized data domains
