Resumo


The even more competitive corporate environment presents some challenges to management models used by organizations. These models are dependents of efficient information systems and knowledge consolidation, through evaluations, analysis and simulations of scenarios with the objective of identifying the best strategy to be adopted and to guarantee a good course of implementation planning. The use of Corporate Performance Management by organizations, address the fulfillment of requests brought by this new context. According to this scenery, this study has the objective of analyze the CPM usage level in Brazilian organizations, as well as, identify the objectives pursued by their implementation. In order to achieve these goals, an extensive review of literature was carried over, providing the theoretical grounds upon which a field study took place. This study involved Brazilian organizations from many different industries that uses CPM.
