Resumo
In the current enterprise environment organizations need to make use of the information in a strategical way to keep its competitiveness. Technology and the information systems have evolved constantly to supply the necessities of the organizations and these ones had also evolved its structures to act strategically. The research had also evolved in understanding how information, knowledge and decisions happen in the enterprise environment. However, experiences of success with the use of strategical information still are exception and predominates the insatisfaction with the technology and systems. This article carries through a study of the contributions of literature on the infrastructure, systems and strategies related to the efficient use of the information, and concludes that the main problems are in the inherent complexity of the process and in the absence of organizational processes and strategies adjusted to act with the information. To the end of the study a model of good practices is proposed, based on identified cases of success in the research.
