In a recent exploratory study Jamil (2005) which had as objective to evaluate information and knowledge management in organizations, relationships and opportunities of researches among cooperative processes applied for enterprises´ strategic planning were identified. Software development process emerged remarkably as one of these interacting areas, providing relevant questions for further observation which could expand traditional software engineering approach through interdisciplinary studies. This article, that uses exploratory methodology too, aims to affirm such interdisciplinary perspective for additional studies, identifying potential areas and questions for further researches. Knowledge and information management process was discussed as an interdisciplinary case study.
