Resumo

This article presents a concise review of technological transitions in power markets, focusing specifically on vehicle-to-grid (V2G) technology and its applications in grid integration. Drawing from an analysis of 241 relevant academic articles, key findings emerge. V2G technology offers potential benefits, including demand response, grid stabilization, and renewable energy integration. However, challenges related to infrastructure, market design, and regulatory frameworks require attention for effective implementation. Different deployment models, such as centralized and decentralized approaches, provide insights into grid integration strategies. Based on the findings, further research and policy efforts are necessary to promote V2G adoption and deployment. Collaboration among power industry stakeholders, government bodies, and academia is crucial for addressing challenges and unlocking the full potential of V2G technology in sustainable power systems. This review serves as a valuable resource for researchers, policymakers, and industry professionals interested in understanding and contributing to ongoing technological transitions in power markets, particularly in relation to V2G technology and grid integration.
