Resumo
The contemporary setting of digital information environments of organizations characterized by dependence on the use of information in the processes of decision-making and innovation, this coupling between management, innovation and information is one of the consequences of the Information Society, context which technology and information constitute the organizational base of relationships in contemporary society. Among the various efforts to use the information to support the actions of decision support and innovation in organizations, the Competitive Intelligence which uses the systematic information processes to support such actions. These processes are represented by information flows that are characterized by the search, access, retrieval, transformation, processing, representation, persistence, transfer, presentation and use of information, and as informational sources, the actors of innovation formed mainly by government, business and educational institutions. In order to establish a Competitive Intelligence platform to support innovation, this paper proposes the combination of: a) computer technology as extraction agents, Data Fusion, Big Data Analytics and NoSQL Databases; b) semantic information technologies: ontologies, metadata standards, Information Retrieval, to build an architecture to support the process of management and decision-making in the innovation scenario. The use of the combination of computational, informational and semantic technologies of the spaces contained in the platform that were described before lets the main actors in the field of innovation (government, business and educational institutions) have access to product information generated and collaboratively support themselves in collective and collaborative construction processes of new knowledge and actions to encourage innovation in organizations.
