Resumo
The competitive intelligence, object of this article is a managerial tool used in the collection and analysis of information, to assist managers in the decision-making process. In the article, we verified the characteristics of the scientific production on competitive intelligence in papers presented at Brazilian conferences, in the period 2006 to 2015. For its achievement we adopted Bibliometric Analysis. The criteria analyzed were determined with the purpose of guiding the research. The results indicated that: for the Brazilian researchers there is a great opportunity for new research and publications in the field of competitive intelligence; exists the possibility of employing various research paradigms; despite current research networks existing, there are good opportunities for the creation of new networks and expansion of existing networks, involving researchers from higher education institutions throughout the entire Brazilian territory.
