Resumo


This article is about the governance of the management of information technology, focusing on identification procedures and best practices of ITIL model in day to day IT Manager leading projects in companies without being qualified for the job. The hypothesis is that most IT managers in companies do not follow any standard planning and making the workplace a real inconvenience for the IT Sector. The objective was to identify the procedures of best ITIL practices in governance of IT Management. The method used was a study in some companies in the IT sector with survey questionnaires to measure the maturity of the company and manager before the IT. The collected data were compared with the ITIL model. The result found was that some companies have no level of management maturity necessary to perform Governance in the company. The conclusion was that companies need to train and manage qualified managers in the IT sector for the role.
