Resumo
Over the years, the topic related to educational systems has been examined extensively and has received considerable attention. The occurrence of deep changes in social and technological environment demand reforms in different educational systems. It is essential to create educational environment that enable students to solve problems and are exposed to decision making advanced. Thus, objective of this research is to perform a bibliometric analysis on educational practices in the field of operations management that are using simulation games. This bibliometric study is to analyze articles published in the Scopus database from 2000 through 2012, related to the theme. Furthermore, this study has the following objectives rank scientific output found second keyword, author, activity and countries. The results indicate that studies in education have been receiving considerable attention in recent years, in particular the application of simulation games applied context for the teaching of subjects related to Operations Management. The development of games has been the focus of practitioner and academic interest for more than fifty years and this study has attempted to summarise of the studies evolution of gaming practice in OM education.
