Resumo
The small businesses have increasingly used systems like ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) to improve, among other things, control and business processes. This research is a case study that analyzed the demands of 107 small businesses that came to support an ERP vendor located in São Paulo. The study aimed to analyze what are the main problems related to logistics firms face in the operation of an ERP. The study revealed that 62% of the errors were related to failures in the system, mostly related to the issuance of invoices, while the other 38% were due to operational failure, and the human factor, caused by issues related to training in ERP, the main problem was observed. At the end of a proposal for a improvement to the challenges, based on human resources, software and hardware is indicated.
