Although many authors identify the Communication in Projects (CP) as a problem and as a Critical Success Factor (CSF) for the projects, the studies only identify that there is problem or what is more used. This article discusses new issues in more depth: Where, when and with whom the main CP problems happen? Which factors are critical to your success? With the support of São Paulo Chapter (second largest outside of the United States, according to the PMI-SP) Survey was conducted aiming first to start answering these questions, and to contribute to the identification of the CSF to CP. The questionnaire was based on theoretical review of project areas, Internal Communication organizations and related areas. With filter between administrative levels confirmed the proposition that there is a substantial difference between the form of communication in projects and their problems. Considering the evidence raised is finding the risk of CP.
