The demand for quality information and timely has piqued the interest on the part of developers and users about the usability of computer systems. Numerous surveys designed to measure the usability have been presented at national and international literature, however, in this study, the interest was to analyze, based on the model QUIM (Quality in Use Integrated Measurement), proposed by Seffah, Donyaee, Kline and Padda (2006), the level of usability of software used by accounting firms. Within these accounting firms, these products are part of a information system that is intended to generate accounting information for managing their activities and the activities of its clients. Regarding methodological aspects, this is a descriptive study conducted by survey, with 77 respondents. It was found, through the perception of accounting professionals and based on the factors of the model QUIM that the softwares under study, as part of the accounting information systems, are already prepared for the process of information generation, yet, there space for a perfecting to ensure a fuller interface implementation.
