CORPORATE EDUCATION: the context of the Department of Training & Development at Alfa Company.

Resumo


: There is no denying the importance of education as widely as a possible solution to many problems encountered in any country. And with regard to organizations, education, exhibits the same degree of importance, if not more, when it comes to training the workforce of the companies. However, unlike the present social reality, many organizations are adopting a management model based on education, continuously, up to emerge competitively before their competitors. This study focused on the evaluation study and the contribution of Corporate Education Program, to achieve the goals in Alpha Company, in the perception of managers and non-managers. The organization studied is a benchmark in technological development and product offers electric motors, paints, customer solutions, among others. For the purposes for which this research proposes, then characterized as descriptive. Regarding the technical procedures used, we used the literature, documentary, experimental, ex post facto, survey and case study. In this sense, this study is characterized as a case study because, although we can not generalize the results achieved with the same, it enables a deep understanding regarding a specific reality. This feature is present, since the study delves into the reality of a particular case, in order to obtain information relevant to the understanding and evaluation of Corporate Education in Alpha Company. The research is quantitative, which means in figures opinions and information to classify them and analyze them. However, the intersection of information and data analysis, characterized as qualitative in nature. In developing the survey, data collection was conducted structured interviews for managerial staff and application of questionnaires to members of the other heads of management development courses, which are offered to those who occupy or will occupy positions of leadership. The questionnaire was developed and adapted from the study of the Earth (2000). Therefore, for the four dimensions surveyed, we obtained the following average: 3.83 Administrative Dimension; Cultural Dimension 4.10; Dimension sociopsychological 3.87; Dimension and Scientific / Technological 3.75. From the details of each of these dimensions, we analyzed a series of items related to human development within the company studied. It was then possible to observe that the practices are still features plenty of traditional management Training & Development. However, with evidence of evolution for Corporate Education.
